I heard that this game has something called Carcosan Modifiers that I can use to adjust the difficulty, but I can’t find them. How do I access them?

The Carcosan Modifiers are accessed via the Primary unit in the Passage. They can only be adjusted between runs.

It is also possible that you have not yet unlocked them. The Carcosan Modifiers screen can be unlocked in two ways:

  1. Reach the third biome after defeating Bastion and return to the Passage.
  2. Die again after unlocking all available nodes from the Armor Matrix in either the first or second biome.
